Deepest Condolence
Deepest CondolenceSINGAPORE : A colonel from the Singapore Armed Forces died while participating in the Singapore Biathlon at East Coast Park on Sunday. Colonel Bernard Tan Cheow Han, 39, collapsed and died after nearly completing the 10-kilometre run. He was just 600 metres away from the finishing line. The colonel had earlier finished a 1.5-kilometre swim before the run. SAFRA which is also the organiser of the event says immediate medical attention was given to Colonel Tan at about 10am. He was sent to Changi General Hospital and was pronounced dead at about 11am. The cause of death is still being investigated by the police. More than 1,700 people took part in the biathlon which included the chiefs of army and navy. Colonel Tan was the Assistant Chief of the General Staff in charge of army personnel matters. He was married with two young daughters aged two and seven. - CNA/de Just left like making one more post after knowing about this. He was a young and promising person. likely to be the next Chief of Army or maybe even Chief of Defence Force. (for the benefit of gals who dunno. Chief of defence force = head of army, airforce, and navy). Saw him before and i think his wife and daughter before as well. He looked witty, sharp, and yet not crafty kinda person to me at first sight. Passed away just like that. Farewell and deepest condolence. Let's observe one minute of silence.

Good Weekend
Good Weekendhaha haven been updating my blog with a proper post for sometime le. heh, just plain lazy to update partly because i dunno why my samsung program screwed up, i cant upload pictures from my hp. Argh, i think i got to re-install it some day.just took a picture of myself. haha new haircut, changed my parting also. BUT cant upload, SIANZ! haha anyway just an update on this weekend.Yesterday went ECP with ahyang and collin haha with the intention of teaching ah yang blading haha. heh i managed to get a video of him struggling and falling down so for those interested u can come look for me muhahahaha. he was a quick and determined learner man. Can u imagine someone who skated like almost half ECP on his first try? haha ahyang did it. After that, we(colin and i nia, ahyang had returned his skates haha) blade to marine parade to have our lunch haha, nice xian cao drink it has. afterwhich, i blade from marine parade to Kembangan MRT station to take MRT down to pasir ris for my chalet. haha the weather was so good till JUST before i reach the station man. it started raining 300m before i reach kembangan!! just when the station is in sight. Argh, the most pissing thing is, the rain stopped within 1min i found shelter, and i am all wet already.Anw went to my so-called ORD function cum chalet that JM organised. Well, pple came, pple pang seh. So i shall not comment much about that. haha i am glad that i went, thou it's just slacking around haha. oh yah, the best part, BBQ! haha the guys went out saying it's time for BBQ, and started raising fire. So i just thought i can still slack around playing some PS2 game. i went out after sometime, look at the fire. Stunned. NO FREAKING FIRE! hahaha all of them cant raise BBQ fire muhahahaha. i almost peng on the spot. Then while raising the fire i was saying, "wah liew! OCS de also cant raise a simple fire ah?" Reply was,"we use solid fuel loh, moreover who use charcoal in field camp one!?" Freaking hilarious. So, today. Wanted to go play bball with my friends in the morning. But slpt a bit too late last night so couldn't get up in the morning haha but i did myself a favour in the afternoon haha. i blade the swimming complex and had a good 20+ laps swim and bladed back home again haha. It feels really shiok to work out man. but i think haha because of my left ankle sprain i had been relying on my right foot too much while skating, feels a bit strained now. So i guess i will rest for monday and tuesday so that i can be back to my sunny saturday cum do-all-shit-together gang(including skating) on wednesday haha. SHIT, i realise i am starting to peel!! ahhhhh dammit! haha got a bit burnt last weekend haha went sentosa. Yesterday's sun at ECP and today's sun in the afternoon when i was out for blading and swimming was strong haha. Anw i like to have tanned skin! hehe. just hope the peeling will not be too serious. Good weekend indeed.

Self-worth
Self-worthJust how much is mine? Can someone just tell me?Feeling down leads me to think of a lot of things. I really dunno why am i feeling this way. I guess i might be frustrated at myself for the lack of discipline and how irresponsible i had been for everything lately. it's really time that i pick up the pieces and start working on everything that i should. Blading to WCP
Blading to WCP
haha yesterday after work blade from office down to west coast park. it was one of the most terrible and torturing skating experience i ever had. cos i sprained my ankle just outside my camp but i decided to press on after giving my ankle a bit of massage and tightening my skates to the max. the routes were pretty easy, except for some slopes that need a little more control along the way, which obviously i cant cos my ankle was hurting then, so i was going really slow. haha i will see if i can get the pictures max took along the way and post it up. anw our end point was at west coast park mac. we had some drinks and rest before we went for our dipper(dinner + supper). tried to look for a chinese physician to take a look at my ankle but we were too late by the time we reached. haha anw i just took a MC, that's why i am here typing all this. just for info, my ankle looks like this now. sigh, looks like i am outta skating for weeks le! hope i can be better in a week's time cos i got blading at ECP on 11 Mar 06!!!
